Switching ON/OFF: Press the button on the tail cap until a "click" is heard.

Momentary on: Lightly press the button on the tail cap without pushing the button all the way.

Mode switch: The Nitecore MT2A has two modes: Turbo mode and user-defined modes.

• Tightening the flashlight head enters the turbo mode, which provides maximum 260 lumen outputs
• Loosening the flashlight head enters the user defined modes. Lightly pressing the switch will cycle through following modes: "High-Mid-Low- SOS-Strobe". Pressing the switch all the way down memorizes the current setting.
