The bolt and carrier receive a salt bath nitride finish for increased surface hardness, corrosion resistance, and smoother operation compared to traditional phosphate finishes. Faxon's Superfinished carrier body further reduces friction and fouling, helping the rifle cycle smoothly and making cleanup easier after long range sessions or field use.
