6 MOA Red Dot: The 6 MOA dot is easy to pick up quickly on a defensive or concealed-carry pistol. Compared with smaller dot sizes, the larger aiming point can be faster to acquire at close range and easier to see under stress.

Shake Awake Technology: Holosun’s Shake Awake system powers the optic on when motion is detected and helps preserve battery life during inactivity. The optic also recalls the last brightness setting when it wakes.

Side Battery Tray: The HS407K X2 uses a side-mounted CR1632 battery tray, allowing battery replacement without removing the optic from the slide. This helps preserve zero compared with optics that require removal for battery changes.

Holosun K Footprint: The HS407K X2 uses Holosun’s K footprint. Holosun states the optic is a direct fit for SIG P365X and P365XL pistols and requires an adapter plate for slides with a four-boss interface. Always confirm your pistol slide cut, mounting plate, screw length, and optic footprint before installation.

Lock Mode: Lock Mode helps prevent accidental setting changes by locking the buttons after the optic is configured. This is especially useful for concealed carry where the optic may contact clothing, holsters, or gear.
