Aero Precision is on target with the superb engineering that makes this the lightest, strongest, and easiest upper onto which you can install your barrel and rail. The one-piece forged design features an internally threaded barrel-nut that rides inside a ridged extension that doubles as the mounting surface for enhanced rails that further secure via 8 secure torx screws.

Ease of installation - Simply insert your barrel assembly into the M5E1 upper, tighten the included barrel nut and slide your rail on and tighten the rail screws with the included tool. Within minutes you can have a modular, free-floated complete upper receiver built.
