Returns & Refunds Policy

Huckleberry ArmsĀ® believes responsibility should follow the cause of the problem. If Huckleberry Arms LLC makes an order-fulfillment mistake, we will take responsibility for correcting it and will cover the reasonable costs necessary to do so. If a customer orders the wrong product, changes their mind, or fails to verify compatibility, the customer is responsible for the resulting return costs.

We carefully select the products we sell and strive to provide accurate product information. Please review this policy before placing an order.

Eligible Merchandise

Most new, unused, non-firearm, and non-ammunition merchandise may be returned within 30 calendar days after delivery when all of the following requirements are satisfied:

  • The merchandise was purchased directly from Huckleberry Arms LLC.
  • The return request is made within 30 calendar days after delivery.
  • The merchandise is new, unused, uninstalled, unmounted, unaltered, and in resalable condition.
  • The original packaging, instructions, accessories, tags, tools, hardware, and other included components are present.
  • The product and packaging have not been damaged, marked, modified, or materially altered.
  • The customer obtains return authorization before shipping the merchandise.

Opening a shipping carton solely to inspect the merchandise does not automatically make an item ineligible. However, merchandise that has been installed, mounted, assembled, fired, altered, tested beyond a reasonable visual inspection, or used in the field is not considered new and unused.

How to Request a Return

Before returning merchandise, call or text Huckleberry Arms LLC at 815-245-1813. Please provide:

  • Your name and order number
  • The product you wish to return
  • The reason for the return
  • Photographs when the item, package, or shipping carton is damaged

Wait until Huckleberry Arms LLC provides return authorization and return instructions before shipping anything. Return authorization does not guarantee that a refund will be approved. The merchandise must still be received and inspected.

Unauthorized returns, packages sent collect on delivery, and shipments for which postage or carrier charges remain due may be refused.

Customer-Arranged Return Shipping

When a return results from buyer preference, an ordering mistake, failure to verify compatibility, a change of mind, or another circumstance not caused by Huckleberry Arms LLC, the customer must arrange and pay for the return shipment directly with the carrier.

Huckleberry Arms LLC does not provide prepaid return labels for buyer-caused returns. The customer remains the shipper of record for that return and is responsible for:

  • Selecting an appropriate and lawful shipping method
  • Properly packaging and protecting the merchandise
  • Purchasing tracking and adequate shipping insurance
  • Complying with all carrier, hazardous-material, firearm, ammunition, and other shipping requirements
  • Loss, theft, or damage occurring before the return is delivered to and received by Huckleberry Arms LLC

A tracking number and appropriate insurance are strongly recommended. Huckleberry Arms LLC cannot issue a refund for merchandise that is lost before it is received or that arrives damaged because of inadequate return packaging.

When Huckleberry Arms LLC Makes an Error

If Huckleberry Arms LLC ships the wrong item, omits an item from the shipment, or otherwise makes a verified fulfillment error, we will take responsibility for correcting the error.

Depending on the circumstances, Huckleberry Arms LLC may provide a prepaid return label, arrange another reasonable return method, or reimburse an approved and reasonable return-shipping expense. Please contact us before purchasing return postage so that we can provide instructions and approve the shipping method.

No restocking fee will be charged when a return results from a verified Huckleberry Arms LLC fulfillment error.

Return Shipping and Original Shipping Charges

Original outbound shipping charges are not refundable when the return results from buyer preference, incompatibility, an ordering mistake, a change of mind, refusal of delivery, failure to retrieve a package, or another circumstance not caused by Huckleberry Arms LLC.

If Huckleberry Arms LLC made a verified fulfillment error, reasonable shipping charges necessary to correct that error will be covered by Huckleberry Arms LLC.

Restocking Fee

A 20% restocking fee applies to eligible non-defective returns resulting from buyer preference, an ordering mistake, incompatibility, a change of mind, or another circumstance not caused by Huckleberry Arms LLC.

The restocking fee is calculated from the merchandise price before taxes and shipping charges. It helps offset order processing, payment-processing, inspection, repackaging, inventory handling, and the reduced value or marketability frequently associated with returned merchandise.

The restocking fee does not apply when Huckleberry Arms LLC confirms that it shipped the wrong merchandise or made another fulfillment error.

Inspection of Returned Merchandise

All returned merchandise is inspected before a refund is approved. Huckleberry Arms LLC may compare the returned item with order records, product identifiers, serial numbers, lot numbers, packaging, photographs, and other available information.

A return may be refused when:

  • The merchandise is used, installed, mounted, fired, altered, modified, or damaged.
  • Parts, accessories, packaging, instructions, labels, tools, or other components are missing.
  • The item returned is different from the item originally shipped.
  • A serial number, lot number, product identifier, label, or marking has been removed, altered, obscured, or substituted.
  • The merchandise was damaged because of improper return packaging.
  • The return contains evidence of product substitution, return fraud, abuse, or material misrepresentation.
  • The return was shipped after the return period expired or without authorization.

Huckleberry Arms LLC will not issue a refund for substituted merchandise, empty packaging, missing products, or merchandise materially different from what was originally shipped.

Refunds

After an authorized return is received and inspected, Huckleberry Arms LLC will notify the customer whether the return has been approved or refused.

Approved refunds are generally processed within five business days after inspection. Refunds are issued to the original payment method, less any applicable:

  • 20% restocking fee
  • Original outbound shipping charges
  • Other nonrefundable charges disclosed in this policy

After Huckleberry Arms LLC processes a refund, the customer's bank or card issuer may require additional time to post the credit. Huckleberry Arms LLC does not control the financial institution's posting time.

Exchanges

Huckleberry Arms LLC does not process direct merchandise exchanges. A customer seeking a different size, model, configuration, caliber, finish, or product should return the eligible merchandise under this policy and place a separate order for the desired item.

Creating a separate order prevents inventory from being held indefinitely and allows each purchase and refund to be documented accurately.

Customer Responsibility for Product Selection

Customers are responsible for reviewing the product description and verifying suitability before ordering, including:

  • Firearm make and model
  • Caliber or gauge
  • Thread pattern
  • Dimensions and clearances
  • Generation or production variation
  • Right-hand or left-hand configuration
  • Required tools or professional installation
  • Compatibility with other parts, accessories, optics, mounts, or equipment
  • Whether possession, purchase, installation, or use is lawful in the customer's jurisdiction

Please contact Huckleberry Arms LLC before ordering when compatibility is uncertain. We are glad to provide information reasonably available to us, but final product-selection and compatibility decisions remain the customer's responsibility unless Huckleberry Arms LLC expressly confirms otherwise in writing.

Firearms

Firearms must be carefully inspected at the receiving Federal Firearms Licensee before the customer accepts the transfer.

If the firearm is incorrect, materially damaged, or materially different from the order, do not complete the transfer. Contact Huckleberry Arms LLC immediately while the firearm remains in the custody of the receiving Federal Firearms Licensee.

Once a firearm has been transferred to the customer, the sale is final and the firearm cannot be returned or exchanged.

Mechanical, functional, cosmetic, or warranty concerns discovered after transfer generally must be addressed through the firearm manufacturer. Huckleberry Arms LLC will reasonably assist with manufacturer contact information when appropriate.

If a firearm is returned by the receiving Federal Firearms Licensee because the customer refuses, cannot complete, or is legally unable to complete the transfer, any authorized refund will be subject to the applicable restocking fee and all original and return-shipping costs, unless the return resulted from an error by Huckleberry Arms LLC.

Ammunition and Hazardous Materials

All ammunition sales are final. Ammunition cannot be returned or exchanged.

Primers, propellants, certain cleaning chemicals, compressed-gas products, and other hazardous or regulated materials may also be final sale because of safety, regulatory, and carrier restrictions.

Do not attempt to return ammunition, primers, propellants, or another hazardous product without receiving specific written shipping instructions from Huckleberry Arms LLC.

Other Final-Sale Merchandise

The following merchandise is not eligible for an ordinary return:

  • Firearms after transfer
  • Ammunition
  • National Firearms Act items after transfer or submission of applicable government paperwork
  • Used, installed, mounted, fired, altered, modified, or damaged merchandise
  • Special-order, custom-ordered, engraved, or personalized merchandise
  • Clearance, liquidation, or closeout merchandise identified as final sale
  • Hazardous or regulated products that cannot be lawfully or safely returned through ordinary shipping channels
  • Gift certificates or store credit

Damaged Shipments

Please inspect shipments promptly after delivery. If a package or product arrives damaged:

  • Preserve the shipping carton, packaging materials, labels, and merchandise.
  • Photograph the unopened carton when exterior damage is visible.
  • Photograph the packaging and merchandise after opening.
  • Contact Huckleberry Arms LLC as soon as reasonably possible, preferably within five business days after delivery.
  • Do not discard packaging or ship the product elsewhere until instructions are provided.

Preserving the package and documentation allows Huckleberry Arms LLC to investigate the loss and pursue any available carrier claim.

Product Warranties

Unless Huckleberry Arms LLC expressly states otherwise in a separate written document, Huckleberry Arms LLC does not provide its own separate written product warranty.

Products may be covered by a warranty offered by the applicable manufacturer. Any manufacturer warranty is provided solely by that manufacturer and is governed by the manufacturer's terms, limitations, procedures, and remedies.

Huckleberry Arms LLC will reasonably assist customers with manufacturer contact information and warranty coordination when appropriate. However, Huckleberry Arms LLC does not control and is not responsible for a manufacturer's decision, processing time, repair, replacement, or other warranty remedy.

A manufacturer warranty does not make an otherwise final-sale product returnable to Huckleberry Arms LLC.

Policy Abuse and Fraudulent Returns

Huckleberry Arms LLC works in good faith to resolve legitimate customer concerns. That commitment does not require Huckleberry Arms LLC to accept substituted merchandise, false claims, incomplete returns, materially altered products, or other fraudulent or abusive returns.

Returns that do not comply with this policy may be refused. Documented fraudulent or abusive return activity may also result in the refusal of future orders.

Rights That Cannot Be Waived

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
