Factory GLOCK Performance Trigger for the G44
The GLOCK Performance Trigger 75580 brings GLOCK’s factory Performance Trigger design to the G44 .22 LR pistol. This genuine GLOCK accessory combines a flat trigger face with an enhanced trigger pull intended to improve ergonomics, trigger control and overall shootability while retaining the safety features of the GLOCK Safe Action System.
This is the G44-specific .22 LR configuration. It is not the same assembly as the GLOCK Performance Triggers intended for 9mm or .40 S&W pistols.
Flat Trigger Face and Approximately Five-Pound Pull
The straight, flat-faced trigger provides a consistent contact surface for the trigger finger. GLOCK lists the approximate trigger pull at 5 pounds, providing a controlled break while preserving the operating characteristics expected from a factory GLOCK component.
Actual measured pull weight can vary because of component tolerances, lubrication, maintenance and the condition of the host pistol. The published figure should therefore be treated as an approximate specification rather than an exact guaranteed measurement.
Retains the GLOCK Safe Action System
GLOCK designed the Performance Trigger to retain the safety features of its Safe Action system. The pistol’s passive safeties operate automatically as the trigger is deliberately pressed and reengage when it is released.
The trigger’s position must never be used to determine whether the pistol is loaded. GLOCK specifically notes that the Performance Trigger remains in its forward position whether or not the firearm is loaded. Always verify the firearm’s condition using proper unloading and inspection procedures.
Designed Specifically for the G44
Part number 75580 is compatible with the GLOCK G44 chambered in .22 LR. The G44 uses its standard slide cover plate with this trigger; an alternate Gen5 slide cover plate is not required for the G44 installation.
This trigger is not listed for the G17, G19, G26, G34, G19X, G45, G47 or other centerfire GLOCK pistols. Those models use different GLOCK Performance Trigger configurations. Confirm both the firearm model and manufacturer part number before ordering.
Accessory-Only Factory Upgrade
The G44 Performance Trigger is sold as an accessory and is not installed on factory G44 pistol configurations. The assembly includes the Performance Trigger with trigger bar and trigger mechanism housing.
GLOCK does not recommend aftermarket modifications to the Performance Trigger. Substituting connectors, springs or other internal parts can alter pull weight, reliability and safety-system operation.
Certified GLOCK Armorer Installation Required
GLOCK requires this product to be installed by a certified GLOCK Armorer. Correct installation, inspection and function testing are essential when replacing fire-control components. Do not install or use the trigger if any component is damaged, altered or incompatible with the host pistol.
Performance Trigger Maintenance
GLOCK recommends lubricating the Performance Trigger with quality CLP oil or an equivalent product before its first use and before and after each subsequent use. If the trigger is installed in a firearm that is not used regularly, GLOCK recommends lubrication every three months.
The manufacturer identifies three lubrication points: between the trigger bar and connector, between the trigger bar and frame, and on top of the sear holder. Follow the current GLOCK Performance Trigger Information and Maintenance Guide rather than applying excessive lubricant or using an unapproved maintenance procedure.
