The Griffin Armament QD Blast Shield Gen 2 is engineered to dramatically reduce side concussion and muzzle blast pressure—protecting the shooter and nearby teammates in close-quarter battle (CQB) environments. Especially effective on short-barreled rifles, it redirects concussive force forward, mitigating the deafening blast that often leads to headaches and hearing damage.

Constructed from ultra-tough 17-4PH stainless steel and TIG welded for maximum durability, this blast shield withstands intense use and full-auto fire without failure. Its fluted body design—borrowed from Griffin’s QD suppressors—enhances strength-to-weight ratio and accelerates cooling. A durable Melonite QPQ finish ensures long-lasting corrosion resistance and professional-grade appearance.

The Gen 2 QD Blast Shield is compatible with Griffin’s Gate-LOK™ mounts and select A2 compensators. A fast, wear-free quick-detach system allows rapid configuration changes, while the included shim set and over-travel stop enable proper A2 fitment. Whether you're upgrading your duty weapon or range rifle, the QD Blast Shield is a smart addition for recoil-conscious, safety-minded shooters.
