The SilencerCo AC590 ASR Flash Hider is a 5/8x24 threaded .30 caliber / 7.62mm muzzle device for compatible rifle hosts. It works as a stand-alone flash hider and also serves as a suppressor mounting interface for compatible SilencerCo ASR suppressor setups.

SilencerCo designed the ASR Flash Hider to reduce visible muzzle flash while providing compatibility with the SilencerCo ASR Mount. When paired with the proper ASR-equipped suppressor, this muzzle device supports a quick attach/detach suppressor interface for compatible SilencerCo systems.

5/8x24 Thread Pattern for .30 Caliber Hosts: This AC590 model uses 5/8x24 threads and is intended for compatible .30 caliber / 7.62mm applications. The 5/8x24 thread pitch is commonly used on many .308 Winchester, 7.62 NATO, 300 Blackout, 6.5 Creedmoor, and similar threaded rifle barrels. Always confirm actual barrel thread pitch, caliber, and bore clearance before installation.

ASR Suppressor Mount Compatibility: The AC590 is part of SilencerCo’s ASR mounting family and was historically associated with Specwar 7.62 applications. It is intended for use with compatible SilencerCo suppressors and ASR mounts. Flash Reduction with Resonance Suppression: SilencerCo states that the ASR Flash Hider significantly suppresses muzzle flash and uses a resonance suppression method intended to reduce the tuning-fork effect common with some 3-prong flash hider designs.
