The SureFire WARCOMP-556-CTN Closed-Tine Flash Hider is a 1/2x28 threaded 5.56 NATO / .223 Remington muzzle device for AR-15, M4, M16, and other compatible 1/2x28 threaded rifle hosts. It combines closed-tine flash reduction, neutral porting for muzzle-rise control, and SureFire SOCOM Fast-Attach suppressor adapter capability.
The closed-tine WARCOMP design gives shooters a profile similar to a traditional birdcage flash hider while reducing the snagging risk associated with open-tine designs. SureFire also uses neutral porting to help reduce muzzle rise for faster target tracking and follow-up shots.
SureFire SOCOM Suppressor Adapter: The WARCOMP-556-CTN serves as a mounting adapter for compatible SureFire SOCOM Series Fast-Attach suppressors. SureFire CNC-machines these adapters to help align the suppressor with the bore of the host weapon.
