ARIDUS INDUSTRIES BERETTA 1301 TACTICAL AIMPOINT MICRO CROM
The Aridus Industries Co-Witness Ready Optic Mount (CROM) is a low-profile optic mounting system designed specifically for the Beretta 1301 Tactical shotgun. Its receiver-direct design replaces the factory top rail and rear sight arrangement with an integrated platform for Aimpoint Micro-pattern red dot optics.
By positioning the optic closer to the shotgun's receiver, the CROM provides a lower sighting arrangement than a conventional red dot installed on a raised Picatinny rail. The mount also incorporates an adjustable XS ghost-ring rear sight that works with the shotgun's factory front sight.
LOW-PROFILE AIMPOINT MICRO OPTIC INTERFACE
The CROM uses a direct Aimpoint Micro mounting interface compatible with Aimpoint Micro H1, T1, H2, and T2 optics. The integrated mounting surface eliminates the need for an additional elevated Picatinny adapter, allowing the optic to sit closer to the receiver.
Aridus notes that protective covers must be removed when using Aimpoint Micro H2 and T2 optics with this mount.
INTEGRATED XS GHOST-RING REAR SIGHT
Unlike a basic optic mounting plate, the CROM incorporates an XS ghost-ring rear sight. The rear aperture is adjustable for both windage and elevation, providing a mechanical sighting reference alongside the mounted optic.
The ghost-ring assembly is intended to work with the factory front sight of the Beretta 1301 Tactical, offering an alternate sighting reference independent of the electronic optic.
CO-WITNESS READY DESIGN
The CROM is designed to support alignment between the optic and the shotgun's mechanical sights. Its low mounting position helps preserve a consistent cheek position while bringing the optic closer to the shotgun's existing sight line.
Aridus explains that exact co-witness alignment can vary with barrel characteristics, ammunition selection, and the adjustment range of the rear sight. A perfect co-witness is therefore not guaranteed for every individual shotgun.
BERETTA 1301 TACTICAL COMPATIBILITY
This CROM configuration is designed for the Beretta 1301 Tactical receiver mounting pattern. It is not compatible with the Beretta 1301 Competition, which uses different receiver hole spacing.
Compatibility with other Beretta shotgun models, receiver patterns, or aftermarket sight arrangements should not be assumed simply because the firearms share a similar exterior appearance.
BLACK FINISH AND AMERICAN MANUFACTURE
The Aridus CROM features an all-black exterior and is manufactured in the United States. Its integrated optic mounting surface and rear ghost-ring assembly combine two sighting functions within a single compact receiver-mounted component.
