Threaded 9mm Barrel Made Specifically for the SIG P365-FUSE
The Ballistic Advantage BAPSS65UT1QI is a Premium Series threaded 9mm replacement barrel made specifically for the SIG P365-FUSE. It combines hardened 416R stainless-steel construction with a black QPQ finish, smooth non-fluted exterior, LCI provision, 1:10 twist and 1/2x28 muzzle threads.
This is a FUSE-specific barrel rather than a universal P365-family barrel. Ballistic Advantage’s compatibility guide identifies it for the P365-FUSE only. It should not be purchased for a standard P365, P365X, P365XL or P365 XMacro configuration.
LCI-Compatible FUSE Configuration
BAPSS65UT1QI includes the barrel provision for the P365-FUSE loaded chamber indicator system. This is an important distinction because Ballistic Advantage offers other SIG P365-family barrels in both LCI and no-LCI configurations.
The LCI is an additional visual or tactile reference and is never a substitute for proper firearm-handling procedures. Always treat the firearm as loaded until its condition has been personally and physically verified.
Black QPQ Finish
The hardened stainless-steel barrel receives a black QPQ treatment. QPQ increases surface hardness and wear resistance while providing corrosion protection and a durable black exterior that coordinates with the factory-style FUSE slide.
This configuration has a smooth, non-fluted exterior. Buyers seeking a spiral, Bomber or other decorative fluting pattern should not assume that features offered on other Ballistic Advantage pistol barrels are present on this model.
Hardened 416R Stainless-Steel Construction
Ballistic Advantage manufactures its Premium Series pistol barrels from hardened 416R stainless steel. The manufacturer selected this material for its combination of strength, toughness, ductility and corrosion resistance.
Each barrel is honed, lapped and tumbled during production. Ballistic Advantage states that bore deviation is held below .0001 inch and that its pistol barrels do not require a traditional break-in period.
1/2x28 Muzzle Threads
The muzzle is threaded 1/2x28 for compatible 9mm muzzle devices and suppressor-mounting systems. Thread specification alone does not establish compatibility with a particular suppressor, compensator or other muzzle device.
Confirm the accessory’s caliber, thread specification, required clearances and mounting requirements before installation. A suppressor used on the P365-FUSE’s tilting-barrel operating system will generally require the suppressor manufacturer’s appropriate piston and booster assembly.
SAAMI-Specification 9mm Chamber
Ballistic Advantage states that its pistol barrels meet SAAMI chamber specifications. This barrel uses a 1:10 twist rate and is intended for 9mm ammunition appropriate for the host pistol.
Use only ammunition of the correct caliber and pressure specification. Inspect the assembled pistol for proper lockup, component clearance and safe cycling before live-fire use.
Factory-Firearm Testing and Aftermarket Fitment
Ballistic Advantage tests its barrels in complete factory firearms. The manufacturer cautions that dimensional differences among aftermarket slides and other components prevent it from guaranteeing fitment or performance in every custom combination.
A replacement barrel should never be forced into battery or used when lockup, headspace, cycling, LCI operation or muzzle-device clearance is questionable. Installation and final safety inspection should be performed by a qualified gunsmith when proper fit cannot be confidently established.
FUSE-Only Compatibility Is the Critical Distinction
The P365 family includes several barrel and slide lengths that are not interchangeable merely because they share the P365 name. BAPSS65UT1QI is the black QPQ, threaded, non-fluted LCI barrel for the P365-FUSE configuration.
Verify that the host pistol uses the full-length P365-FUSE slide and barrel system before ordering. Owners of a standard P365, P365X, P365XL, XMacro or XMacro Comp should select the Ballistic Advantage barrel specifically listed for that configuration.
