Pressurized Firearm Cleaner for Fast, Thorough Flushing
Birchwood Casey Gun Scrubber Model 33348 is a pressurized, fast-evaporating cleaner developed for internal metal firearm parts and assemblies. Its high-pressure spray helps flush away oil, grease, carbon residue and loose debris from areas that can be difficult to reach with patches or brushes alone.
This configuration contains 15 fluid ounces of cleaner and includes an extension tube for directing the spray into actions, chambers, trigger assemblies, gas ports, barrel threads and other confined areas.
Reach Difficult Areas Without Complete Disassembly
Gun Scrubber can help simplify routine maintenance by flushing many internal areas without completely detail-stripping the firearm. The extension tube concentrates the spray where it is needed, while the standard nozzle can be used when broader flushing coverage is preferred.
Birchwood Casey recommends using the aerosol upright and applying it liberally in short blasts. A compatible cleaning brush may be used to loosen stubborn deposits before the area is flushed again.
Fast-Evaporating, No-Rinse Formula
The solvent evaporates rapidly after application and does not require rinsing. This makes Gun Scrubber useful for removing the residue, loosened fouling and contaminated lubricant left behind during the cleaning process.
Because the cleaner removes protective oil and lubricant along with contamination, cleaned metal components should be inspected and properly lubricated or protected against corrosion before the firearm is returned to service or storage.
Suitable for Multiple Firearm Types
Birchwood Casey recommends Gun Scrubber for semi-automatic firearms, bolt actions, lever actions and slide actions. It may also be used when maintaining compatible shotguns, air rifles and muzzleloaders.
The included extension tube is useful for directing cleaner toward actions, magazines, chambers, gas ports, barrels, choke tubes and other difficult-to-access metal components. Always confirm that the firearm is completely unloaded before cleaning and follow the firearm manufacturer’s maintenance instructions.
Important Surface-Compatibility Warning
Although Gun Scrubber is formulated for firearm cleaning, Birchwood Casey warns that the solvent may damage some finished surfaces, plastics, laminates, composite materials, rubber grips, painted surfaces, synthetic stocks, camouflage finishes and wood finishes.
Test the product on an inconspicuous area before general application. Do not allow the cleaner to pool on, inside or underneath components, and avoid spraying optics, electronics, painted markings or other sensitive materials unless their manufacturer specifically approves solvent exposure.
Aerosol Safety and Storage
Gun Scrubber is an extremely flammable pressurized aerosol. Use it only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area while wearing suitable eye and skin protection. Keep it away from heat, sparks, flames and other ignition sources, and do not puncture or burn the container.
Store the can locked up in a cool, ventilated location away from direct sunlight and temperatures above 122 degrees Fahrenheit. Keep out of reach of children and consult the product label and Safety Data Sheet before use.
