The Burris Scout 2-7x32mm long eye relief riflescope is purpose-built for forward-mounted scout rifle configurations, drawing inspiration from the principles of Col. Jeff Cooper. It pairs exceptionally well with hard-hitting lever-action rifles such as the Marlin SBL, as well as bolt-action and semi-automatic platforms where speed and situational awareness matter.

Its forward-mounted design allows placement ahead of the receiver, providing extended eye relief and enabling true both-eyes-open shooting. This setup enhances target acquisition speed, maintains peripheral awareness, and delivers a clear sight picture whether shooting from a static position or on the move.

This configuration is ideal for scout rifles, defensive carbines, and hunting setups where rapid engagement and field awareness are critical.
