Dead Air Mojave .45 Caliber Piston M16x1 RH – PB446
The Dead Air PB446 Mojave Piston is the .45-caliber, M16x1 right-hand threaded piston for compatible Dead Air Mojave suppressor configurations. It is designed to work with the Dead Air PB500 Booster Assembly and its internal booster spring on compatible tilting-barrel semi-automatic handguns.
M16x1 Right-Hand Thread Pattern
PB446 uses an M16x1 RH thread pattern. Thread direction is especially important because M16x1 barrels are available in both right-hand and left-hand configurations. Confirm the exact barrel thread pitch and direction before ordering.
Built for the Mojave Piston System
This is a dedicated Mojave-series piston and should not be confused with Dead Air P-Series pistons used with suppressors such as the Wolfman, Ghost, or Primal. The PB446 piston interfaces with the Mojave booster system to help a compatible tilting barrel unlock and cycle under the additional weight of an attached suppressor.
Important Compatibility Information
Dead Air identifies Mojave pistons for use with the Mojave 9 and Mojave 45 suppressor systems. Physical piston compatibility does not change a suppressor’s caliber rating. Never fire .45-caliber ammunition through a Mojave 9 or any suppressor that is not rated for the ammunition being used.
For a fixed-barrel firearm, use the appropriate Dead Air fixed mount, 3-lug adapter, or other manufacturer-approved fixed-barrel configuration. Do not use a spring-loaded booster configuration on a fixed barrel.
