The KynSHOT RB5005 Hydraulic Recoil Buffer is engineered for AR-10 / .308 AR carbines using a standard AR-10-length (A5) buffer tube with a 7.75-inch internal depth. Designed as a direct drop-in replacement, the RB5005 delivers a significantly smoother recoil impulse by controlling the bolt carrier group through a self-contained hydraulic damping system.

Unlike traditional weighted buffers, the RB5005 actively absorbs and slows the rearward energy of the bolt carrier, reducing felt recoil, minimizing muzzle rise, and eliminating bolt bounce. This results in improved reliability, reduced wear on internal components, and faster, more consistent follow-up shots—especially in .308 platforms that tend to run harder than AR-15 systems.

This model is specifically designed for rifles equipped with the longer AR-10 / A5-length receiver extension (7.75"), making it the correct solution for platforms that do not use the shorter 7" AR-15 carbine buffer tube.
