Luth-AR AR-15 Parts & Accessories
Luth-AR brings decades of AR-platform manufacturing experience to a growing line of AR-15 components, accessories and builder parts. Founded in 2013 by Randy Luth, the founder of D.P.M.S. / Panther Arms, Luth-AR combines traditional AR design experience with both modern components and increasingly popular retro-pattern parts.
Randy Luth founded D.P.M.S. in 1986 and grew the company into a major AR-15 manufacturer and component supplier before selling it in 2007. He returned to the AR market with Luth-AR in 2013, initially developing the company's Modular Buttstock Assembly and later expanding back into a broad range of AR-15 components.
Starting with Luth-AR A1 and A2 Upper Receivers
The current Huckleberry Arms Luth-AR selection begins with A1- and A2-pattern AR-15 upper receivers in both stripped and assembled configurations.
These fixed-carry-handle receivers are particularly useful for retro-inspired AR builds, military-pattern reproductions and shooters who prefer the simplicity and sighting system of traditional A1 and A2 receiver designs.
Stripped upper receivers provide the receiver body as the foundation for a builder who wants to select and install the sight, forward-assist, ejection-port and other receiver components individually.
Assembled upper receivers include specified receiver-level components already installed. Always review the individual product listing for the exact configuration and included components, as an assembled receiver should not automatically be interpreted as a complete barreled upper assembly.
Luth-AR and the Return of the Retro AR
Luth-AR has developed an increasingly substantial selection of parts for classic AR configurations. Its current catalog includes A1 upper receivers, A1 sights, stocks, handguards, pistol grips and other retro components, along with a separate family of A2 parts and accessories.
That makes Luth-AR especially interesting for builders who want the appearance and operating characteristics of an earlier AR pattern without relying entirely on decades-old surplus components.
More Than Retro Components
Luth-AR's product line extends well beyond A1 and A2 reproduction parts. The company currently produces AR upper and lower components, MBA adjustable buttstocks, handguards, barrels and barrel hardware, bolt-carrier components, charging handles, gas-system parts, grips, build and repair kits, gunsmithing tools and other AR-platform accessories.
As Huckleberry Arms expands its Luth-AR inventory, additional products can be added here without changing the category structure or limiting the page to one particular type of component.
The Luth Name in the AR Industry
Randy Luth's history in the AR market reaches back decades. Under his leadership, D.P.M.S. not only produced complete rifles but supplied AR-15 and M16 components throughout the industry. Luth-AR continues that component-focused approach with products intended for builders, repair work, competition, hunting and traditional AR configurations.
Whether the project is a retro A1 rifle, an A2-style build or a more modern AR, this category serves as the Huckleberry Arms home for Luth-AR parts and accessories.
