MAGPUL SL HAND GUARD FOR HK SP89 AND MP5K

The Magpul SL Hand Guard for SP89/MP5K is a black polymer replacement handguard designed for compatible short-pattern HK roller-delayed firearms. Its lightweight, injection-molded construction incorporates M-LOK accessory attachment points while retaining the recognizable styling of the SP89 and MP5K firearm family.

An anti-slip gripping texture and an integral muzzle-end hand stop distinguish the SL design from traditional smooth polymer handguards. The handguard combines modern accessory mounting capability with the compact dimensions and appearance of the MP5K platform.

HIGH-STRENGTH POLYMER CONSTRUCTION

Magpul manufactures the SL Hand Guard from high-strength injection-molded polymer. The rigid construction is designed to provide stable fitment without requiring a user-adjusted tensioning mechanism.

The exterior includes textured gripping surfaces and contoured geometry modeled around the classic HK K-pattern handguard appearance.

M-LOK ACCESSORY ATTACHMENT POINTS

Integrated M-LOK slots are positioned along the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock surfaces of the handguard. These provide standardized mounting locations for compatible M-LOK accessories.

The compact handguard design preserves the short SP89/MP5K profile while incorporating mounting provisions not typically present on traditional K-pattern polymer handguards.

INTEGRAL FRONT HAND STOP

A prominent muzzle-end hand stop follows the traditional HK K-style handguard design. Its raised front profile provides a physical reference point at the forward end of the gripping surface.

Combined with Magpul's anti-slip texture, the hand stop is a defining ergonomic feature of the SL Hand Guard.

SP89 / MP5K PLATFORM COMPATIBILITY

Magpul specifies this handguard for SP89/MP5K-pattern firearms and compatible clones with approximately 5-inch barrels. It is the short-pattern handguard, not the longer SL Hand Guard intended for HK94 or full-length MP5 configurations.

Compatibility with specific clones, handguard mounting provisions, and nonstandard front-end configurations should be verified against the manufacturer's product instructions before installation.

CLASSIC HK APPEARANCE WITH MODERN MATERIALS
