Norma Whitetail 20 Gauge 7/8 oz Rifled Slugs – 25 Round Box

The Norma Whitetail 20 Gauge Rifled Slug (1198043420) delivers a traditional shotgun slug configuration for deer hunting, range practice, and other lawful sporting applications. Each 2-3/4-inch shotshell contains a single 7/8-ounce rifled slug, providing a practical hunting ammunition option for compatible 20-gauge shotguns.

Packaged in a convenient 25-round factory box, Norma Whitetail rifled slugs provide ammunition for sighting in your shotgun, evaluating accuracy, practicing before hunting season, and heading into the field with a familiar load.

Traditional Rifled Slug Construction

Unlike shotshells containing birdshot or buckshot, this ammunition launches a single projectile. The 7/8-ounce rifled slug features the traditional exterior-grooved design commonly associated with smoothbore shotgun applications.

Rifled slugs are generally intended for use in compatible smoothbore shotgun barrels. The exterior grooves do not make them universally compatible with every shotgun, choke, or barrel configuration. Always follow the firearm manufacturer's recommendations.

Designed for Whitetail Deer Hunting

Shotgun slugs have a long-established role in deer hunting, particularly in areas where shotgun hunting is preferred or required. Norma's Whitetail 20-gauge load offers hunters a single-projectile ammunition option suitable for appropriately equipped shotguns and lawful hunting conditions.

Actual accuracy, trajectory, and terminal performance depend on the firearm, shooting distance, and ammunition characteristics. Verify point of impact and practical accuracy with your shotgun before relying on any slug load in the field.

7/8-Ounce Slug in a 2-3/4-Inch 20-Gauge Shell

The 7/8-ounce slug weighs approximately 383 grains and is loaded into a conventional 2-3/4-inch 20-gauge shotshell. This configuration is intended for compatible 20-gauge shotguns approved for rifled-slug ammunition.

Compared with multiple-pellet shotshells, slug ammunition requires particular attention to accurate aiming and sight settings. Patterning or sighting in with the actual hunting load is an important part of preparing a slug-equipped shotgun for the field.

25-Round Factory Packaging

Each box contains 25 rounds of Norma Whitetail 20-gauge rifled-slug ammunition. The larger box quantity is convenient for hunters who want enough ammunition to confirm zero, evaluate group consistency, and practice without purchasing several smaller packages.
