The Magpul MOE SL-S Carbine Stock (MAG653-BLK) is a premium collapsible Mil-Spec stock designed as a direct upgrade for AR15, M4, and M16 carbines utilizing a Mil-Spec receiver extension (buffer tube). As the storage-capable evolution of the MOE SL, the SL-S combines a slim profile with enhanced cheek weld and integrated waterproof storage for serious duty and field use.

The defining feature of the SL-S is its dual waterproof battery storage tubes, positioned on both sides of the stock to enhance cheek weld while maintaining a streamlined footprint. Each tube is O-ring sealed and waterproof, capable of storing CR123A or AA batteries, small parts, or essential field gear.

A reinforced dual-side release latch allows fast, ambidextrous length-of-pull adjustments while remaining snag-resistant and protected from accidental activation. The internal anti-rattle leaf spring system provides a tight, stable lockup on the receiver extension, improving consistency and reducing noise during movement.

The angled rubber butt-pad with rollover toe is optimized for use with body armor and rapid shoulder transitions, while the ambidextrous QD sling mount and integrated sling loops offer versatile sling configurations for defensive rifles, duty carbines, and precision AR builds.

IMPORTANT: This stock is designed specifically for Mil-Spec diameter carbine receiver extensions and will not fit commercial-spec buffer tubes.
