Lipsey’s-Exclusive Ruger RXM with Aimpoint COA
The Ruger RXM Model 19462 is a limited-availability Lipsey’s distributor exclusive that combines the modular Ruger and Magpul handgun platform with a factory-configured Aimpoint COA enclosed red-dot sight. This version pairs a black Magpul Enhanced Handgun Grip with a black FNC nitride slide and barrel for a clean, uniform appearance.
Chambered in 9mm Luger, the RXM uses a 4-inch precision-rifled barrel and has a 15+1 capacity. It ships with two Magpul PMAG 15 GL9 magazines and a co-branded plastic carry case.
Aimpoint COA with the A-CUT Interface
The included Aimpoint COA is an ultra-compact enclosed-emitter optic with a crisp 3.5 MOA red dot. Its enclosed housing protects the emitter from dirt, moisture and debris while maintaining a compact profile suitable for carry, training and range use.
Rather than attaching through screws that pass through the optic housing, the Aimpoint A-CUT interface mechanically locks the optic directly to the slide. The full-length dovetail, front hook and rear wedge stabilize the optic in multiple directions while allowing it to sit low enough for use with the pistol’s co-witness-height steel sights.
The COA uses a replaceable CR2032 battery and is rated by Aimpoint for up to 50,000 hours of operation at the specified daylight setting. A side-access battery tray permits battery replacement without removing the sight from the pistol.
Removable Serialized Fire Control Insert
At the center of the RXM is a removable serialized stainless steel Fire Control Insert. The FCI contains the serialized firearm component and sits inside the interchangeable Magpul Enhanced Handgun Grip, allowing the grip frame to be changed without replacing the serialized fire-control assembly.
Ruger states that most major RXM components are designed for Gen 3 compatibility with off-the-shelf parts, holsters and accessories. Compatibility should still be confirmed for the specific component or holster before purchase or installation.
Black Magpul Enhanced Handgun Grip
The black Magpul EHG uses Magpul’s 3/4-scale TSP texture to provide secure contact without being excessively abrasive against clothing. Textured indexing pads give the trigger finger and support-hand thumb consistent reference points along the frame.
A trigger-guard undercut and extended beavertail support a high firing grip. Additional frame features include a low-profile flared magazine well, magazine-release scallop and universal-pattern accessory rail for compatible pistol lights and lasers.
Striker-Fired Controls and Internal Safeties
The RXM uses a striker-fired operating system with a flat-faced trigger, smooth trigger pull and tactile reset. An extended magazine release and raised slide stop improve access to the primary controls.
Model 19462 does not have a manual safety. Its internal safety system includes an integrated trigger safety and internal striker blocker. The pistol should always be handled in accordance with Ruger’s safety instructions and stored securely when not in use.
Four-Inch FNC Nitride Barrel and Slide
The precision-rifled 4-inch alloy-steel barrel has six grooves, a 1:10-inch right-hand twist and a black FNC nitride finish. The through-hardened alloy-steel slide also receives a black FNC nitride finish for surface protection and wear resistance.
Overall length is 7.15 inches, slide width is 1 inch and the pistol weighs 23.5 ounces in this Aimpoint-equipped configuration. Ruger lists the frame height as 5.31 inches, excluding the optic.
Who Should Choose Model 19462?
Model 19462 is the RXM configuration for someone who wants the black 15-round platform with a premium enclosed optic already integrated into the slide. It removes the need to select an optic footprint, purchase an adapter plate or separately source a compatible sight.
Someone who already owns an RMR-, DPP- or RMSc-pattern optic may prefer a standard optics-ready RXM. Model 19462 is specifically cut for the Aimpoint A-CUT interface and arrives with the COA installed as part of the factory configuration.
