The SIG Sauer ROMEO-X PRO FDE SORX1002 is a rugged open-emitter pistol red dot sight with SIG’s Circle Dot reticle, a durable 7075 aluminum housing, and a low deck height designed for optic-ready pistols using the DeltaPoint Pro / PRO footprint.
Inspired by SIG’s military-grade ROMEO-M17 optic family, the ROMEO-X PRO brings a strong feature set to defensive pistols, duty pistols, range guns, and compatible full-size or compact handgun platforms. The FDE finish makes this version a natural fit for tan, coyote, and flat dark earth pistol builds.
Circle Dot Reticle: This SORX1002 model uses SIG’s Circle Dot reticle with an individually selectable 2 MOA dot and 32 MOA circle. The dot provides precision for zeroing and distance work, while the larger circle helps with fast acquisition during close-range shooting and defensive pistol use.
DeltaPoint Pro / PRO Footprint: The ROMEO-X PRO is designed for optic-ready pistols with the DeltaPoint Pro footprint. This makes it a strong match for many SIG Sauer PRO-cut pistols and other compatible pistol slides. Always confirm your pistol slide cut, mounting plate needs, screw length, and optic footprint before installation.
Side Battery Access: The ROMEO-X PRO uses a side-loading CR1632 battery, allowing battery replacement without removing the optic from the slide. This helps preserve zero compared with optics that require removal for battery changes.
MOTAC Motion Activation: SIG’s MOTAC system powers the optic on when motion is detected and powers it down during inactivity to help preserve battery life. SIG lists the ROMEO-X PRO with up to 20,000 hours of runtime.
Low Deck Height: SIG designed the ROMEO-X PRO with a low deck height that supports co-witness use with standard-height iron sights on compatible pistol setups. Actual sight picture depends on the pistol, slide cut, mounting configuration, and iron sights used.
