The SilencerCo AC25 Piston is a 1/2x28 piston for compatible SilencerCo pistol suppressors and 9mm threaded pistol hosts. Pistons allow a pistol suppressor to be adapted to the thread pitch of the host firearm while working as part of the suppressor’s Nielsen device / booster system.

SilencerCo pistons are built from 17-4 stainless steel and heat-treated for durability. In a semi-automatic pistol suppressor setup, the piston is part of the moving booster assembly that helps the pistol cycle properly with the added mass of a suppressor attached to the barrel.

The AC25 is the common 1/2x28 piston used for many 9mm threaded pistol barrels. It is a useful part to keep on hand when setting up a compatible SilencerCo pistol suppressor across different 9mm hosts, or when replacing an existing piston with the same thread pattern.

Compatibility note: Always confirm suppressor, piston, barrel thread, shoulder, and host firearm compatibility before use. This is the standard 1/2x28 AC25 piston, not the 1/2x28 XL piston and not the 1/2x28 SN piston.
