Caliber-Specific Bravo Front Cap for .224 and 5.56mm Projectiles
The SilencerCo AC5125 is a black Bravo Front Cap with a caliber-specific opening for .224-caliber and 5.56mm projectiles. It replaces the existing removable front component on compatible SilencerCo suppressors or the Bravo MAAD Brake, providing a flat front profile and tighter projectile clearance than a larger-bore cap.
This is the black .224 / 5.56mm configuration. SilencerCo manufactures visually similar Bravo Front Caps in several bore sizes and finishes, so the manufacturer part number and caliber marking should be confirmed before installation. AC5125 should not be confused with the .30-caliber AC5124 or .355 / 9mm AC5126 models.
Caliber-Matched Bore for Improved Suppression
A suppressor capable of handling several calibers may be supplied with a front cap large enough for the suppressor’s maximum projectile diameter. When that suppressor is used on a smaller-caliber host, installing the correctly sized front cap reduces the amount of open space surrounding the projectile as it exits the suppressor.
SilencerCo states that using the correct caliber-specific front cap may reduce the measured sound level by approximately 2–5 dB. The actual improvement will vary with the suppressor, host firearm, barrel length, ammunition, mounting configuration and testing conditions.
Compatible SilencerCo Suppressors and Components
SilencerCo lists the AC5125 Bravo Front Cap as compatible with the Omega 300, Hybrid 46, Scythe-Ti and Bravo MAAD Brake. Compatibility is based on the front-cap interface and should not be inferred solely from a suppressor’s caliber rating or use of another Bravo-pattern mounting component.
This front cap is not compatible with the SilencerCo Harvester Evo. The Harvester Evo may use Bravo-pattern rear mounting accessories, but SilencerCo specifically excludes it from Bravo Front Cap compatibility.
Flat Front-Cap Configuration
The AC5125 provides a simple flat front profile for shooters who do not require a front-mounted anchor brake. It can be used to configure a compatible suppressor for a clean, streamlined appearance while maintaining the removable front-cap system supported by the suppressor manufacturer.
This product is the front cap only. It does not include a suppressor, rear mount, muzzle device, piston, booster assembly or installation tool unless specifically shown and stated by Huckleberry Arms.
Important Bore-Clearance Requirements
The .224 / 5.56mm designation describes the opening through this front cap; it does not independently establish that a suppressor is rated for every cartridge using a .224-caliber projectile. The host firearm, ammunition, suppressor and mounting system must each fall within SilencerCo’s published operating limits.
Never fire a projectile larger than the installed front-cap opening. Before live fire, verify the front cap is securely installed and confirm suppressor alignment, projectile clearance and complete-system compatibility. An incorrectly sized cap or misaligned suppressor can cause an end-cap strike, baffle strike or other equipment damage.
Factory SilencerCo Replacement Component
The AC5125 is a genuine SilencerCo replacement and configuration component manufactured for supported Bravo front-cap interfaces. Choosing the factory component preserves the intended fit and allows the suppressor to be configured without relying on a third-party cap of uncertain dimensions.
This front cap is a non-serialized accessory and is not a complete suppressor. Purchasing the AC5125 by itself does not require an NFA transfer, although the suppressor on which it is installed remains subject to all applicable laws and regulations.
