The XS Sights AR-15 A2 Tritium Stripe Front Sight is a straightforward upgrade for shooters who want to retain the durability and simplicity of a traditional fixed front sight while gaining a more visible aiming reference in changing light conditions. It replaces the standard front sight post inside a compatible A2-style front sight housing rather than replacing the complete front sight assembly.
The narrow 0.105-inch square-top post preserves the familiar A2 sight picture, while the vertical green tritium stripe provides a battery-free reference when available light begins to fade. A white surround helps draw the eye to the front post in daylight, giving the shooter a more distinct reference without turning the rifle into something dependent on electronics, switches or batteries.
That makes this sight particularly well suited to a general-purpose AR-15, defensive carbine, patrol-style rifle or any build where dependable iron sights remain part of the primary or backup sighting system. It provides the low-maintenance reliability expected from fixed iron sights while making the front post easier to locate against dark or uneven backgrounds.
XS Sights machines the post from stress-proof steel for long-term durability. Elevation is adjusted through the rifle's existing front sight system, with each complete rotation moving the point of impact approximately 5 inches at 100 yards. The included front sight tool makes installation and future elevation adjustments easier without requiring a separate tool purchase.
This model fits compatible AR front sight housings with the sight detent positioned at 3, 6 or 9 o'clock. It is not compatible with ARMS backup sights because the blade is too long for that housing. Confirm the configuration of your existing front sight base before ordering.
