MIRA Safety CM-7M CBRN Full-Face Gas Mask – Medium
The MIRA Safety CM-7M is a professional full-face respirator developed for military, emergency-preparedness and other demanding applications. When properly fitted and paired with a filter or breathing apparatus selected for the specific hazard, it supports respiratory and facial protection against applicable chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear contaminants, toxic industrial materials and airborne particulates.
This listing is for the black Medium / Size 2 CM-7M. The mask uses a bromobutyl-rubber facepiece, dual silicate-glass lenses and two standard Rd 40 x 1/7-inch filter ports. Its low-profile shape and recessed binocular lenses are designed to improve compatibility with shouldered equipment, optics, helmet-mounted night-vision systems, helmets and hearing protection.
Dual 40mm Filter Ports
Two EN 148-1-compatible filter connections let the wearer position a suitable 40mm canister on either side of the mask. This allows the filter to be placed opposite the dominant shoulder or optic as needed. Filters are sold separately and must be selected according to the contaminant, concentration and intended application.
Clear Vision and Easier Communication
The dual silicate-glass lenses provide optical clarity and depth perception, while the integrated speech diaphragm improves face-to-face communication. The inner mask directs airflow across the lenses to help manage fogging and reduce carbon-dioxide accumulation during extended wear.
The glass lenses are intended for optical clarity rather than blunt-impact absorption. This mask should not be treated as impact-rated eye or face protection.
Integrated Drinking System
A pre-installed drinking system allows the wearer to use the included canteen without removing the mask. The system can also work with compatible CamelBak water bladders when used with a Type M adapter, which is not included.
Medium / Size 2 Fit
According to MIRA Safety’s dimensional chart, Size 2 is intended for facial heights of 120–128 mm and facial widths of 140–148 mm. Proper fit must be confirmed by a seal check or appropriate fit-testing procedure before the mask is relied upon.
Included: CM-7M Medium/Size 2 mask, pre-installed hydration system and canteen.
Not included: Filter canister, Type M hydration adapter, spectacle kit, communications equipment or carrying pouch.

Fit and Seal Requirements
This listing is specifically for Medium / Size 2. Respiratory protection depends on achieving and maintaining an airtight facial seal. Measure carefully and perform a negative-pressure seal check or appropriate fit test before relying on the mask.
Facial hair, hair trapped beneath the sealing surface, eyewear temples, incorrect sizing, damaged components and improper adjustment can prevent an effective seal. Standard eyeglasses should not be worn through the face seal; use a compatible internal spectacle kit when corrective lenses are required.
Filter Selection
No filter is included. Select a genuine, compatible Rd 40 x 1/7-inch filter rated for the identified hazard. Particulate filters do not necessarily protect against chemical gases or vapors, and chemical-filter service life depends on the contaminant, concentration, humidity, breathing rate and environmental conditions.
Follow MIRA Safety’s instructions for filter installation and port configuration. Any unused filter port must remain properly sealed with an approved plug.
Respirator Limitations
An air-purifying respirator does not generate or supply oxygen. Do not use it in oxygen-deficient environments, atmospheres immediately dangerous to life or health, confined spaces, or environments where the contaminant and concentration are unknown. Use a supplied-air breathing system and professionally established respiratory-protection procedures where required.
The CM-7M’s silicate-glass lenses are designed for optical clarity and are not intended to absorb blunt-force impacts. The mask does not replace impact-rated eye or face protection.
Inspection, Storage and Training
Inspect the facepiece, valves, lenses, harness, drinking system, speech diaphragm, filter threads and sealing surfaces before every use. Do not use damaged, contaminated, expired or improperly stored equipment. Store the mask clean, dry, protected from direct sunlight, dust, chemicals, petroleum products, ozone and extreme temperatures.
Users should practice donning, seal checking, filter changes and drinking-system operation in a safe environment before an emergency. Follow all current manufacturer instructions, maintenance procedures and applicable workplace respiratory-protection requirements.
