BERETTA 1301 TACTICAL AND A300 ACRO/MPS RED DOT OPTIC MOUNT
The Beretta 1301 Tactical / A300 ACRO-MPS Red Dot Optic Mount is a low-profile receiver-mounted optic interface manufactured by Reptilia for Beretta tactical shotguns. Based on Reptilia's SADDLE design, the mount replaces the factory Picatinny rail and positions compatible enclosed-emitter red dot optics close to the receiver.
Designed for the Aimpoint ACRO and Steiner MPS mounting patterns, the SADDLE provides a streamlined alternative to stacking a separate optic adapter on top of the shotgun's factory rail. Its low mounting position permits co-witness with compatible factory iron sights.
REPTILIA SADDLE LOW-PROFILE DESIGN
The Reptilia SADDLE is engineered as a direct receiver mounting system for compatible Beretta tactical shotguns. Removing the conventional rail-and-adapter combination places the optic closer to the receiver and reduces the height of the mounting arrangement.
The resulting layout maintains a compact profile while preserving the sighting relationship between compatible red dot optics and the shotgun's original mechanical sights.
AIMPOINT ACRO AND STEINER MPS FOOTPRINT
The mount accepts compatible optics using the Aimpoint ACRO mounting interface, including the Aimpoint ACRO P1, P2 and C2, as well as the Steiner MPS. These enclosed-emitter optic designs use a mounting arrangement distinct from Aimpoint Micro and Trijicon RMR patterns.
This ACRO/MPS configuration is therefore not interchangeable with the Aimpoint Micro version of the Aridus CROM without changing the optic mounting system.
BERETTA 1301 TACTICAL AND A300 ULTIMA PATROL COMPATIBILITY
Beretta specifies this optic mount for shotgun receivers using the 1301 Tactical and A300 Ultima Patrol factory rail mounting-hole pattern. Compatible configurations include the 1301 Tactical and 1301 Tactical Mod.2 families, including the identified pistol-grip models.
The SADDLE replaces the factory top Picatinny rail using the receiver's existing mounting locations. Compatibility is determined by the tactical receiver mounting pattern, rather than the shotgun's exterior color or stock configuration.
FACTORY IRON-SIGHT CO-WITNESS
By positioning the optic low against the receiver, the SADDLE allows compatible Aimpoint ACRO and Steiner MPS optics to share the sight picture with the factory Beretta iron sights. This preserves a mechanical sighting reference alongside the electronic optic without a separate elevated mounting base.
7075-T6 ALUMINUM AND TYPE III HARDCOAT ANODIZING
Reptilia manufactures the SADDLE from billet 7075-T6 aluminum, a high-strength alloy widely used in precision-machined firearm accessories. The mount receives a black Type III hardcoat anodized finish for surface durability and corrosion resistance.
Its compact construction keeps the mounting component lightweight while maintaining a rigid connection to the shotgun receiver.
FACTORY RECEIVER MOUNTING ARRANGEMENT
The optic mount uses the original mounting screws retained from the Beretta receiver's Picatinny rail. Beretta provides installation guidance specifying cleaned fasteners, removable thread-locking compound, and approximately 15 inch-pounds of mounting torque.
This receiver-direct arrangement eliminates the need for a separate Picatinny optic base and maintains the intended mounting interface for compatible tactical shotgun receivers.
