Dead Air lists no minimum barrel-length restriction for its rated 5.56 NATO and 6mm ARC applications; normal limitations concerning barrel condition, mounting alignment, and suppressor heating still apply.

Integrated 5/8-24 Direct Thread – No HUB Adapter Required

This CT5P Patrol uses a fixed, integrated 5/8-24 direct-thread attachment. The mounting interface is built into the suppressor configuration rather than relying on a removable industry-standard HUB adapter.

Direct-thread mounting is useful for customers who prefer a dedicated suppressor and firearm pairing without an additional quick-detach muzzle device. Importantly, this model is not the 1/2-28 direct-thread, Xeno, or KeyMo version.

Caliber clarification: Although 5/8-24 barrel threads are frequently encountered on larger-caliber rifles, this CT5P remains a 5.56 NATO / 6mm ARC-rated suppressor. Do not interpret the mounting thread pitch as a .30-caliber rating.

Flat Dark Earth High-Temperature Cerakote

Dead Air's published CT5P testing reports 137 dB at the shooter's ear and 141 dB at the muzzle using 77-grain 5.56 NATO ammunition from an 11.5-inch AR-15. With the same ammunition from a 14.5-inch barrel, published measurements are 135 dB at the ear and 139 dB at the muzzle.

For 6mm ARC, Dead Air reports 138 dB at the ear and 140 dB at the muzzle using 108-grain Hornady ammunition from a 16-inch AR-15. These results reflect specified manufacturer test conditions; actual performance varies with firearms, ammunition, and measurement environments.

This product is the FDE 5/8-24 direct-thread CT5P Patrol, not a KeyMo, Xeno, or 1/2-28 variation. Dead Air's manual identifies the direct-thread package as containing the suppressor with its integrated mount and a suppressor tool.
