Die Free Co Grips & Rifle Accessories
Die Free Co—better known as DFCO—is a small New Hampshire company building distinctive, practical accessories for modern rifles. The team brought experience from SIG Sauer, Accuracy International and Q before setting out to design products on its own terms. That background shows in accessories that address how the shooter actually interfaces with the rifle: grip angle, hand placement, control, storage and magazine handling.
The Huckleberry Arms DFCO selection includes Kung Fu pistol grips, Tiger Claw M-LOK forward controls, PLUG storage inserts and DOS BOOT magazine extensions. These are functional upgrades with recognizable DFCO styling, available in practical colors for AR-15, AR-10 and other compatible platforms.
Kung Fu Grip: A More Natural Grip Angle
The Die Free Co Kung Fu Grip uses a reduced 12-degree angle intended to place the hand, wrist and forearm in a more natural line. That geometry is especially useful on rifles with a shorter length of pull, where a traditional swept-back grip can force the wrist into an uncomfortable angle. It also remains usable on standard-length rifle configurations.
An enhanced finger groove helps establish repeatable hand placement, while the molded retro texture provides traction without requiring applied grip tape. DFCO specifies compatibility with AR-15, M4, M16, AR-10, M110, SR-25, MCX and MPX platforms. Depending on the receiver, a cosmetic gap may remain between the grip tang and the receiver without affecting function.
Huckleberry Arms stocks the Kung Fu Grip in black, flat dark earth, olive drab green and jungle gray, subject to current availability.
Tiger Claw M-LOK Forward Control
The Tiger Claw is a compact angled forward-control accessory for M-LOK handguards. Its shape gives the support hand a consistent index point without adding the bulk of a full-length vertical grip. Used with a modern support-hand position, it can assist with repeatable hand placement, recoil management and transitions between targets.
The Tiger Claw uses durable nylon construction and the same retro-style texture found on the Kung Fu Grip. Matching black, flat dark earth, olive drab and jungle gray options allow the front and rear contact points to share a coordinated appearance.
Manufacturer classification: DFCO states that the Tiger Claw is not intended to be used as a vertical foregrip. Review the individual product page and configure the firearm in accordance with applicable law.
PLUG Storage Insert for the Kung Fu Grip
The DFCO PLUG closes the open bottom of the Kung Fu Grip and adds approximately one-quarter inch to its length. That extension can provide a more complete purchase for shooters whose hands extend beyond the standard grip body.
Internal storage is arranged for two CR123, AA or AAA batteries, with additional provisions for a CR2032 battery, a small Allen or Torx wrench and a MultiTasker NANO Tool. Friction retention, durable rubber construction and bottom drainage holes keep the design simple. The PLUG is specifically made for the DFCO Kung Fu Grip and should not be assumed to fit unrelated grips.
DOS BOOT PMAG GEN M3 Extensions
The DOS BOOT is a tool-free replacement baseplate for compatible Magpul PMAG GEN M3 magazines. It adds two rounds of capacity, increases the gripping surface available during magazine changes and provides an aggressive tread for contact with the ground or another support surface.
DFCO originally developed the shape around 20-round magazines, where the extension can support low prone shooting without adding excessive height. The manufacturer also specifies compatibility with 10-, 30- and 40-round PMAG GEN M3 magazines. Huckleberry Arms currently carries three-packs in black and coyote brown.
Magazine restriction notice: Installing a DOS BOOT increases the magazine's capacity by two rounds. Customers are responsible for confirming that the resulting capacity is lawful in their jurisdiction. Shipping restrictions may apply.
Choosing the Right DFCO Components
- Choose the Kung Fu Grip when you want a reduced grip angle, repeatable finger indexing and a more neutral wrist position.
- Add the PLUG when you want storage inside the Kung Fu Grip or need slightly more grip length.
- Choose the Tiger Claw when you want a compact M-LOK index point for consistent support-hand placement.
- Choose the DOS BOOT when you have a compatible PMAG GEN M3 and want added capacity, handling surface and support from the magazine base.
- Match the colors when building a coordinated black, flat dark earth, olive drab or jungle gray rifle.
American-Made Accessories from an Independent Manufacturer
DFCO designs its rifle accessories around straightforward improvements that can be felt at the grip, handguard or magazine—not around adding unnecessary size or complexity. The current lineup is particularly well suited to compact AR builds, modern short-length-of-pull configurations and shooters who want their contact points to work together as a system.
