A Compact Black M-LOK Hand Stop
The Die Free Co FULL STOP is a compact machined-aluminum control point that can function as a hand stop, finger stop or barricade stop on a compatible M-LOK handguard. It gives the support hand a repeatable physical reference without requiring the rail space or bulk of a full-length forward grip.
This black version uses a MIL-A-8625 Type III anodized finish that blends naturally with black receivers, handguards and accessories. At only 0.8 ounce, the FULL STOP provides useful indexing and leverage without noticeably changing the rifle's handling or forward balance.
One Stop with Three Practical Roles
Mounted ahead of the support hand, the FULL STOP can provide a forward limit and help prevent the hand from moving toward a hot barrel or muzzle area. Installed behind the hand, it creates a surface for pulling the rifle toward the shoulder. It can also be positioned between the fingers as a compact and repeatable indexing point.
The machined exterior can be placed against an appropriate barricade or support during positional shooting. Its rigid aluminum construction provides a defined contact surface while its small size avoids unnecessarily crowding the handguard.
Machined 6061-T651 Aluminum Construction
DFCO machines the FULL STOP from 6061-T651 aluminum. The rigid body provides a solid point of contact for hand placement and supported shooting while keeping total weight to only 0.8 ounce.
The FULL STOP measures 1.3 inches long, 0.6 inch wide and 1.36 inches high. This compact footprint leaves adjacent M-LOK slots available for lights, sling mounts, bipods, switches and other accessories.
Black Type III Anodized Finish
The MIL-A-8625 Type III anodized finish hardens and protects the aluminum surface while giving the FULL STOP a subdued black appearance. Black is the most neutral option for a traditional AR build and works equally well as a contrasting component on tan, olive drab or mixed-finish rifles.
Minor shade or sheen differences can occur between anodized components produced by different manufacturers or during different production runs.
Direct M-LOK Installation
The FULL STOP attaches directly to a compatible M-LOK slot without requiring an intermediate Picatinny rail section. DFCO recommends biasing the accessory toward the rear of the firearm so its rear recoil lug engages the rear of the M-LOK slot.
Use a 3/32-inch Allen bit and tighten the mounting screw to 25 inch-pounds. Do not exceed the manufacturer's stated maximum of 35 inch-pounds. Blue threadlocker is recommended.
Before live fire, confirm that the M-LOK nut is properly seated and that the accessory cannot slide, rotate or contact the barrel, gas block or another internal component.
Who Should Choose the Black FULL STOP?
The FULL STOP is a strong choice for shooters who want a small, rigid indexing point instead of a larger polymer forward control. It is especially useful on compact handguards, precision-oriented rifles that may be fired from barricades and builds where rail space must be shared among several accessories.
Choose black for a traditional all-black rifle or when you want a neutral component that can move between different builds. A larger forward grip may be more appropriate for someone who wants a full support-hand gripping surface rather than a compact stop.
