A Compact Clear-Anodized M-LOK Control Point
The Die Free Co FULL STOP is a machined aluminum accessory that can function as a hand stop, finger stop or barricade stop on a compatible M-LOK handguard. Its compact dimensions provide a positive physical reference without consuming the space or adding the bulk of a full-length forward grip.
This gray version uses a clear Type III anodized finish that leaves the machined aluminum with a subdued metallic appearance. It is a natural fit for gray, silver, clear-anodized and mixed-finish rifle builds.
Hand Stop, Finger Stop or Barricade Stop
Where the FULL STOP is installed determines how it works. Placed ahead of the support hand, it can provide a forward limit and help keep the hand from moving toward a hot barrel or muzzle area. Placed behind the hand, it creates a surface for pulling the rifle into the shoulder. It can also be positioned between the fingers as a repeatable indexing point.
The exterior surface can serve as a compact barricade stop when firing from an appropriate support. Its rigid aluminum construction gives the shooter a more defined contact point than a softer molded accessory.
Machined 6061-T651 Aluminum
DFCO machines the FULL STOP from 6061-T651 aluminum and protects it with a MIL-A-8625 Type III anodized finish. The resulting accessory weighs only 0.8 ounce while providing a solid contact surface for hand placement and supported shooting.
The FULL STOP measures 1.3 inches long, 0.6 inch wide and 1.36 inches high. That small footprint preserves M-LOK space for lights, sling mounts, bipods and other accessories.
Clear Anodized Gray Finish
Clear anodizing protects the aluminum while allowing more of its natural metallic appearance to remain visible. Depending on the underlying aluminum, surface preparation and production batch, the finished component may appear silver, light gray or slightly darker gray.
DFCO advises that colored anodized finishes can vary from one component to another. An exact shade match with receivers, handguards or accessories from a different manufacturer should not be assumed.
M-LOK Installation and Placement
The FULL STOP mounts directly to a compatible M-LOK slot. DFCO recommends biasing the accessory toward the rear of the firearm so its rear recoil lug engages the rear of the M-LOK slot.
Use a 3/32-inch Allen bit and tighten the mounting screw to 25 inch-pounds. Do not exceed the manufacturer's stated maximum of 35 inch-pounds. Blue threadlocker is recommended.
Before live fire, confirm that the M-LOK nut is properly engaged and that the accessory cannot slide, rotate or contact the barrel, gas block or another internal component.
Who Should Choose the Gray FULL STOP?
This FULL STOP is a strong choice for a shooter who wants a compact aluminum index point instead of a larger polymer forward control. It works especially well on short handguards, precision-oriented rifles that may be fired from barricades and builds where available M-LOK space is limited.
Choose the clear-anodized gray version when a metallic or subdued gray finish fits the rifle better than black, tan or olive drab. A larger grip may be preferable for someone who wants a full support-hand gripping surface rather than a compact stop.
